mirror, mirror on the walls

Our displays and us … made for each other. Shop windows, adverts, signage. A flood of images and text bear down on us in towns and cities. We are so used to it that the best way to notice the visual assault is to make an effort to see (or photograph) people without all this ‘backdrop’. Don’t fight it, but use it, the thinking goes. Pull the backdrop into the script. Once in a while, it makes for a bit of fun.
